The Heart of CALM Events
CALM Events started from an acronym: Created with Ashton Leigh Morris. I wanted my clients to feel like they were part of my process of creating their day, to feel that their vision was heard and that they were creating with me. Every celebration is a sacred season and I feel truly honored each time I am invited into such meaningful moments.
My clients are not just an invoice number or a name on a list. I care as much about your day as you do! That’s where the rest of the idea took form. At the center of CALM Events is a simple belief: Your day should feel peaceful, present, and deeply personal. It should never feel rushed, overwhelming, or chaotic. What began as a passion for creating order in the midst of chaos has grown into an event coordination and planning experience built around care, intention, and calm execution.
CALM Events is owned and led by me, Ashton Morris. I am a wedding coordinator based in Myrtle Beach, SC, and I specialize in helping couples fully step into their wedding day without carrying the weight of the logistics. My role is to become the steady hand behind the scenes, the one making sure every detail flows exactly as it should so my clients can focus on what actually matters: the moments you will remember forever.
My work is rooted not only in organization, but in my love for the Lord. I believe He is faithful in every season, and I see His hand in every detail of what I get to do. There is something incredibly meaningful to me about witnessing two people come together in covenant, and I do not take lightly the privilege of being a part of that day. I often find myself reminded that nothing is accidental. Every moment, every detail, and every connection is held with purpose in His kingdom.
From the first timeline draft to the final vendor goodbye, I am deeply involved in making sure nothing is left to chance. My approach is structures, thoughtful, and grounded in clear communication. I believe every couple deserves to feel supported, not stressed, as their wedding day approaches.
CALM Events is also supported behind the scenes by my amazing husband, Alex, who serves as CFO of the business. While I focus on creative flow, client experience, branding, and details of event execution, Alex insures the financial and operational side runs with clarity and excellence. His steady presence allows the business to function with structure and intention, giving me the freedom to fully serve my couples with presence and peace.
Together, we’ve built CALM Events on a foundation of faith and partnership. We believe that God is present in all things and we trust Him to guide not only our business, but every couple we serve.
